Halloween Proposal Ideas

Well it’s nearly that time of year again and we are busy planning some amazing Halloween proposals.

We love Halloween proposals - but nothing too spooky! We prefer romantic pumpkin proposals, like the one we planned last year. If you are planning on using this holiday to pop the question, then try to make the day personal and unique to you. Remember- just because it’s Halloween, it doesn't mean that you can remove the romance!

For our favourite one last year, we found a beautiful green oasis in the middle of the desert. We hung bunting from the trees and painted 15 pumpkins to spell out ‘Will You Marry Me’ which our lucky lady spotted from afar.

If you are looking for some Halloween proposal inspiration, then have a look at our favourite ideas:

A Midnight Picnic

Lead your sweetheart to a late night picnic setup, where pumpkin lanterns will lead you both to a candlelit tent filled with burnt orange roses and replica cobwebs. You can hang bats from nearby trees and enjoy a Halloween themed picnic under the stars before proposing.

Pumpkin Carving

Why not carve ‘Will You Marry Me?’ into some pumpkins and turn them to face the wall so that your girlfriend can’t see what is carved into them. Have these set up around a romantic candlelit dinner at home, then ask your girlfriend to light the pumpkins, before you turn then around to show the all-important question.

Like the idea of the above? Well why not take it to the next level and arrange a pumpkin patch treasure hunt? Clues will lead to pumpkins that contain important milestones in your relationship, before the final pumpkin reads ‘marry me?’

Mad Scientist Private Chef

Fancy something a bit more mystical and spooky? Then why not fill your dining room with black tulips, blood red roses and dozens of lit candles. You can then enjoy a delicious meal in the comfort of your own home, by your own private chef. We work with a range of talented chefs who will create a unique menu, complete with smoking cocktails (thank you dry ice) and black champagne. The final thing it down to you - proposing with a ring box coffin.
